Our mission
Professionals handle their clients' most sensitive documents every day: tax returns with SSNs, legal filings with privileged information, financial statements with net worth data. Most of this is exchanged via email, Dropbox links, and "secure" portals that are anything but.
We built DeadVault because the file transfer tools available to small and mid-size firms are either insecure (email), overpriced (enterprise portals), or designed for collaboration instead of secure delivery (Dropbox, Google Drive).
DeadVault is purpose-built for ephemeral document exchange: encrypted delivery with expiration dates, payment gates, and audit trails. Files come in, files go out, and when the deadline passes, they're gone, cryptographically, not just deleted.

We make specific, auditable claims. AES-256-GCM, not "military-grade encryption." Cryptographic erasure, not "DoD-level wiping." When we can't guarantee something on cloud infrastructure, we say so.
